Dan grew up in Tampa, Florida and graduated from University of Florida in 1984. He played professional golf from 1984 to 1994, highlighted by participating in the 1989 U.S. Open and three other PGA Tour events.

Dan has been in the financial services industry since 2004. He chose to join Capital Consulting Group in 2020. Dan has a passion for connecting with his clients and providing solutions to their financial goals and needs. He particularly enjoys retirement planning, income planning and wealth transference strategies.

Dan is also very proud of his son Pieter 24 and his daughter Kaley 20. In his spare time Dan enjoys fly fishing, golf, hiking with his black lab Pika, and making music on the guitar.
